I stumbled across underwater engagement portraits recently and have been hooked ever since! (Watch out, brides, I'm going to be begging my clients to do one of these!) What a fun idea for completely non-fussy portraits that show the lighter side of a bride and groom. Use these for Save the Dates, and be sure to print a large canvas to hang in your home. Maybe my husband and I need a shot like this...
This coming Sunday, May 31, is the first bridal showcase at Orlando's Gaylord Palms Resort. Over 80 vendors will be in attendance, including: Solutions Bridal, who is putting on a huge fashion show not to be missed; Flourish Floral Productions, Dragonfly Custom Design (invitations), and Makeover Station (on-site hair and makeup).
Tickets are $10 when you purchase online, or they can be purchased at the door. I'll be there as a guest, and hope to see you there!

The hard work we put into Lindsey and Ryan's wedding last weekend in the Florida Keys was well worth it when we watched it all come together. Shades of white, tan, coral and turquoise splashed color all over the beach, with starfish and dried coral used to decorate the ceremony chairs and centerpieces under the tent.
We worked for the first time with photographer Dede Edwards, who I know shot some amazing beachside photos that we cannot wait to see! For now, here's one from her blog. Even with the hustle and bustle of almost 250 guests, Dede managed to snap this photo that captures Lindsey and Ryan in their own private paradise. More to come!
