I have to admit, I was really dreading the hunt for bridesmaid dresses. I was worried that we wouldn’t be able to find something we all loved, but to my surprise it was quite the opposite.
We decided to go to Solutions Bridal because I knew they would have a good selection of fashion forward, high-quality, yet affordable dresses for my girls to try. Jessica, our consultant, was so sweet and helpful. She listened to what I wanted and explained to me what would work best. Right off the bat she asked me what color we were looking for, and thankfully they had the exact color in a couple different lines. The dresses were all so cute and I was relieved to see how many different options we had.
After trying on several great dresses, my sister chose her favorites; they were all short, chiffon and from the Jim Hjelm Occasions line and Alvina Valenta line. I could have easily chosen one dress for all the girls to wear, but I didn’t. I really feel like nowadays having all of your girls in the same dress and shoes is a thing of the past. I knew if I was a bridesmaid I would love to be able to choose my own, so I picked out five totally different styles from both lines that could be made with the same fabric. I love knowing that all of my girls will be able to rock their own style, and I think it will make for great pictures! If you're going to choose different styles, be sure to find options that will suit each girls figure and personality. It's your wedding day and you should get what you want, but remember, your girls should feel comfortable and beautiful too!
