One of my favorite current trends for weddings is the use of mercury glass and other metallics for decor. Mercury glass was one of the first types of "art glass" created, made for display and looks rather than just for function. Used tastefully on tables, it creates a vintage glam look and can mix well with almost any coordinating wedding colors.
